General |
Morning only course, with three hours of lessons
each day, between 9.00 and 12.30. |

Intensive |
Five hours of lessons each day, between 9.00 and
15.30. |

Both courses are available at all levels from
Elementary to Advanced. An assessment test is taken on arrival to determine
level. |

They provide practice in the main English language
skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. |
|
|
They deal with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. |
|
|
Classes involve maximum student participation. |
|
|
Regular tests and homework are given. |
|
|
At the end of each language level, a progress test is
taken and must be passed before entry to the next level. |
|
|
Reports and Certificates of Achievement are issued on
completion of the course. |
|
|
These courses may be entered on any Monday of the year,
except over the Christmas and Easter period. |
|
|
A Beginners course is available in July and August. |
Students from these courses may go on to either the
English for IELTS or
English for Business courses, which may
also be entered directly by students at the appropriate level of ability.
